Cultural Connections: Umntwana uGcina Zulu

On my recent trip to Zimbabwe, I had the opportunity to interview Umntwana uGcina Zulu about her thoughts on African unity and regional cohesion.

She shared valuable insights and spoke about her role in strengthening the connection between the Ndebele Kingdom and the Zulu Kingdom.

We were in Zimbabwe attending Imiklomelo kaDakamela, an awards ceremony where Chief Dakamela honours community members who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

The event spanned two days and welcomed guests from across the SADC region.

The event was held in Nkayi District, koDakamela.
